Allana Group has signed a 4.5 MWp open-access solar photovoltaic power purchase agreement with Sunsure Energy to support the operation of its Unnao factory in Uttar Pradesh, India.
The deal is one of the many steps Allana Group is taking toward decarbonizing its operations. Sunsure Energy will supply over 6.7 million units of green power through the PPA to Allana's Unnao factory. This will enable them to offset over 5.4 million kgs. of CO2 yearly for the next 25 years.
Sunsure Energy is one of India's largest C&I-focused Renewable Energy Power Producers. Partners Group AG backs Sunsure with a US$400 million equity investment for developing over 3 GW of RE assets by 2027.
