Sterling and Wilson signs contract to build the 18.9 MW hybrid power plant in Agadez

Sterling and Wilson Pvt Ltd (SWPL) has signed a contract to construct an 18.9 MWp solar park with 11.55 MWh energy storage and a diesel generator located in Agadez, in Niger.

The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract and a two-year operation and maintenance (O&M) service of the power plant was awarded by the Nigerian Electricity Company (NIGELEC)

SWPL's Hybrid & Energy Storage division (HES) in a consortium with Vergnet and SNS Niger, will construct the project.
