SE Renewables, a unit of UK utility SSE Plc, has submitted an application with the Scottish Government to build an 80 MW expansion to the existing Achany Wind Farm project in Sutherland, UK.
The 38 MW Achany wind project has been in operation since 2010. The project features 19 wind turbines.
The expansion plan includes additional 20 wind turbines to achieve a total generating capacity of 118 MW.
