Mexican retailer Organizacion Soriana SAB de CV has commissioned its 118 MW Vicente Guerrero wind farm located in Tamaulipas state.
The USD184 million project consists of six units of V136-3.45 turbines and 27 pieces of V136-3.45 MW machines, all units are in 3.6 MW power-optimised mode. The wind farm is developed in collaboration with renewable energy company Grupo de Energia Mexico (GEMEX) and Denmark’s Vestas Wind Systems.
The wind project is expected to generate approximately 454 GWh annually to power 313 Soriana locations.
