Sonnedix has signed a 10-year solar pay-as-produced power purchase agreement (PPA) in Spain with Equinix. The portfolio includes three solar photovoltaic (PV) plants with a total capacity of 150 MWp, to be operational by the end of 2024 in the Cuenca region of Castilla-La Mancha.
During the 10-year term of the PPA, the PV plants will generate 240,000MWh of green electricity and Guarantees of Origin each year, avoiding emissions of over 36,000 tonnes of CO2 per year and powering over 71,000 Spanish homes.
