Chilean environmental evaluation service SEA has received the environmental impact assessment (EIA) from Sonnedix Chile Holding SpA as the company seeks development permit for its 175.54 MWp Meseta de Los Andes solar photovoltaic (PV) park in the Chilean region of Valparaiso.
The company is building the solar project around 335 hectares of land for an approximately US$165 million investment. The project is expected to be in operation for 30 years.
