Sertum Energy Namibia has completed the development of a 5 MW portion of a 27 MW solar project located in at the Orano Trekkopje Mine, in the Erongo Region, Namibia. The project has been inaugurated and has a total investment of NAD120-million (US$7.9 million)
Sertum Energy Namibia, owner of the project, is a partnership between local businessman Elton Katangolo and Italian renewable energy sector player Enertronica SpA. Sertum Energy has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement with NamPower as part of the feed-in-tariff program.
