The Solar Electricity Corporation of India (SECI) has launched two tenders inviting interested developers for 1.2 GW of solar photovoltaic (PV) and 1,3 GW of wind-solar projects.
The projects will be developed under the build-own-operate (BOO) basis with up to 25 years of power purchase agreement (PPA) deal with SECI.
The schedule of the bidding and the respective deadlines are set to be announced on December 16 for the solar PV tender and on December 20 for the wind-solar hybrid project tender.
The tender for the hybrid scheme is for projects that combine wind and solar technologies and will be connected to the interstate transmission system (ISTS).
