RES Group starts commercial operation of 30 MW/120 MWh Top Gun energy storage project in San Diego

RES Group has started the commercial operation of the 30 MW/120 MWh Tog Gun battery energy storage system located in San Diego, California, USA. 

The project is delivered to San Diego Gas & Electric Company (SDG&E), a unit of Sempra that serves San Diego and southern Orange counties. The facility consists of 15,000 lithium-ion batteries. 

RES will provide operation and maintenance services for the project for over 20 years.
