Renewable Japan to build 25.7 MW solar project in Kagoshima

Renewable Japan Co Ltd. is building a 25.76 MW solar photovoltaic project in Kagoshima prefecture for JPY10.15 billion (US$92.42 million). 

The corporate bond which will mature in 2041, RJ Renewable Energy Project Bond IX, is arranged by local brokerage firm Barclays Securities Japan Ltd with Hitachi Capital Trust Corp acting as the trustee.

The project will be built in the city of Minamikyushu. 

Once the project starts operational, it can offset up to 10, 573 tonnes of carbon emissions per year.
