Renew Estate, a joint-venture of energy Estate, Beast Solutions Pty Ltd, and Wirsol Energy Pty Ltd, has closed the sale of the majority stakes in the 300 MW direct current (DC) solar project in Queensland.
United Green has acquired the majority stakes in the 300 MW Rodds Bay solar project developed near the town of Bororen in Rodds Bay in the Gladstone region. The project consists of up to 900,000 photovoltaic (PV) modules and 10,000 trackers installed on 2,758 hectares of land.
The project estimated cost is about AUD350 million (US$243.1 million). The construction is set to start before the end of 2020.
