Q ENERGY has begun construction on two new solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants in the Córdoba province of southern Spain. Each plant will have a capacity of 52.5 MW and is expected to be commissioned by 2024.
The projects are projected to save around 39,000 tons of CO2 emissions annually and satisfy the energy needs of around 55,000 households.
The construction of these projects is part of Q ENERGY’s larger commitment to green energy projects. The company is active in Europe and currently has an active development pipeline of roughly 15 GW. The company’s choice to use solar power is in line with the country's commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, as part of its response to climate change.
