Helexia, a unit of Voltalia, has started the commercial operation of three distributed generation (DG) solar photovoltaic projects with a combined capacity of 18.4 MW in Parana in Brazil.
The projects are constructed communities of Alto Parana, Cidade Gaucha, and Loanda, and are expected to meet the energy demand of Vivo, a brand of Telefonica SA.
Vivo has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Helexia for the clean energy produced from the three sites.
