Orbital Energy Group, Inc's wholly-owned subsidiary Orbital Solar Services (OSS), has been awarded an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract to construct a 132.2 MWdc/100 MWac solar farm in the Southeastern United States.
The company will be responsible for the design, engineering, and production of a utility-scale solar array, which is expected to be delivered in early 2022. Under the contract terms, OSS will provide full utility-scale EPC services, including substation construction.
The solar farm will consist of 350,000 solar panels installed across 800 acres of land and will provide power for 20,000 homes per year.
