The joint wind platform Ilmatar Energy Ltd has acquired the Piiparinmäki-Murtomäki wind farm from Metsähallitus. The project encompasses 50 turbines with a combined nominal capacity of over 200 MW. The project is aimed to be built without any subsidies but is also well-positioned to participate in the upcoming renewable energy premium scheme.
Ilmatar Energy is held 70% by FPCI Capenergie 3, a fund managed by Omnes Capital, and 30% by Ilmatar Windpower Plc. The company is managed by Ilmatar Windpower.
Ilmatar Energy expects start of construction to take place during 2019. The project is expected to provide over 600 GWh of clean energy per year starting from 2021.
Aquila Capital is acquiring the solar project from OX2 while maintaining to manage the wind farm. The value of the transaction was not disclosed
The Government of Finland has divested 5% interest in Neste Corp through n accelerated bookbuilt offering to Finnish and international institutional investors at a price of EUR 67.27 (USD78.7943) apiece. The government cannot sell any more Neste shares for a period of 90 days, subject to certain exceptions
