Ocean Sun starts repair of the severely damaged Statkraft's first unit of floating solar power plant at the Banja reservoir in southeastern Albania.
The company will retrieve the floating ring with membrane and two connected barges. The floating solar project consists of 1,536 solar panels with an installed capacity of 0.5 MWp. Statkraft intends to build additional three floating units or a combined capacity of 1.5 MWp.
The project represents about EUR2 million (US$2.36 million) of investment.
