NORD/LB Norddeutsche Landesbank and BayWa r.e. have completed the financing of the Italian onshore wind farm Serralonga. The project is a joint venture between BayWa r.e. and Nisida and is located in the Campania Region.
Serralonga wind farm is currently under construction and is scheduled to achieve commercial operation by the end of the first quarter of 2022. Once constructed, Serralonga will consist of 11 Vestas V136 turbines and 1 Vestas V117 turbine, totaling an installed capacity of 50.5 MW. It will provide renewable electricity to approximately 45,000 households.
The total financing volume of this project is EUR57 million (US$67.7 million).
