NN Group and Rivage Investment have jointly launched the Rivage Private Debt – Fund for Infrastructure Climate Solutions to finance infrastructure projects that address climate change issues. The fund will concentrate on funding European projects in various sectors, including hydro, solar, wind, public transport, EV charging, batteries, and energy management solutions. Its goal is to support the transition to a resilient, low-carbon economy by financing green infrastructure.
The fund seeks to combine different types of debt financing for sustainable infrastructure assets in Europe, with a clear roadmap that is aligned with the Paris Agreement's requirements and European environmental regulations. NN Group has committed EUR300 million (US$316.6 million) to the fund, and Rivage Investment will also invest in the fund alongside NN.
