NextEnergy Capital (NEC) has bought a 100 MW solar PV plant in Highlands County, Florida, USA.
NEC is making its inaugural acquisition under the NextPower ESG V (NPV ESG) investment fund. The venture will integrate cutting-edge solar technologies, such as bifacial solar modules, enhancing generation efficiency and density. Additionally, the project will utilize single-axis trackers to maximize irradiation exposure by tracking the sun. The project is fully developed and ready for construction, with plans to commence construction in Q1 of 2024 and achieve energization in the first half of 2025.
