Nexif Energy, backed by Denham Capital and Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding Company (RATCH Group) has announced that they have formed a 50:50 partnership for construction and operation of the 80 MW Nexif Ben Tre wind project in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The Nexif Ben Tre wind project is located in Thanh Hai commune, Thanh Phu district of Ben Tre Province, about 160 km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City. The project will be using 19 units of the highly efficient Goldwind 155-4.5MW Wind Turbines.
The entire electricity generation of the project will be sold to Vietnam Electricity Corporation (EVN) under a 20-year power purchase agreement.
The construction of the project has started on May 15th of 2021, and the wind farm is expected to be operational by early 2022.
SEPCOIII, a global engineering & construction company, has been selected as the EPC Contractor and O&M Contractor for the Project.
