New South Wales approves 165 MW Gunnedah solar project

The New South Wales Independent Planning Commission (IPC) has approved the development of the 165 MW solar photovoltaic plant located in Gunnedah, New South Wales, Australia. 

The AUD200 million (US$142.87 million) project will be installed in a 203 hectares of land. It can generate up to 293,000 GWh of clean, renewable energy per annum for close to 49,000 households with CO2 savings of 236,302 tons.
