Madagascar to develop Sahalona hydropower project

The Government of Madagascar is developing a 19 MW hydropower facility named "Sahalona Hydropower Project" in partnership with the African Development Bank (AfDB). 

In July 2018, AfDB has launched a tender for consultancy services to conduct a study for the hydropower project. 

The project will be connected to the Interconnected Network of Fianarantsoa (RIF).
