Luxcara GmbH has acquired the 30 MW Utrilla solar project in located next to the 45 MWp El Salobral solar project situated next to the solar farm El Salobral, in Espejo, near Córdoba, which has acquired by Luxcara, announced at the end of 2017.
Both plant shares same a substation and initially developed by UK solar company Hive Energy. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Due to differences in topography, tracker systems will be used for Utrilla, which adjust the solar modules according to the altitude of the sun, thereby leading to optimized returns. Connection to the grid is planned for the second half of 2020.
