Lietuvos Energija is looking for a contractor to build a 60 MW wind project it recently bought in the Baltic Country’s Mazeikiai region. The power distribution group has launched a tender for the supply, construction and maintenance of the wind farm, according to a notice on the central public procurement portal of Lithuania.
Lietuvos Energija bought the 60 MW Mazeikiai wind project in the northern part of Lithuania by acquiring its owner VVP Investment in December 2018. The plant will be powered by 20 turbines.
The tender should end in 2020 and the company hopes to start building the wind farm. According to the CVPP information, a contact for 18 years will be signed with the tender winner.
