Lekela has started the commercial operation of the 110 MW Perdekraal East wind project located in Ceres, in the Witzenberg Municipality, Western Cape, South Africa.
The project features 48 turbines and meets the performance requirements to safely and securely feed the national energy system. It produces about 368,800 GWh annually, enough electricity to supply for about 111,000 households.
