The consortium of companies led by Lekela Power has commissioned the 140 MW Kangnas wind farm project located in the town of Springbok in the Nama Khoi in the municipality of Northern Cape in South Africa.
The wind farm consists of 61 Siemens SWT-2.3-108 wind turbines each with a capacity of 2.3 MW that collectively can generate up to 500 GWh of energy per year.
Lekela Power has started the construction of the project in 2018.
