Enel Green Power opens 140 MW Nxuba wind project in Eastern Cape

Enel Green Power has commissioned the 140 MW Nxuba wind farm in the Eastern Cape region of South Africa.

Nxuba is one of five projects awarded to Enel Green Power South Africa in the fourth round of the country’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP).

The project is expected to generate over 460 GWh annually. It can avoid 500,000 tons of CO2 every year.
