KR Energy to sell Italian hydro business

K.R.Energy, an Italian renewable energy holding company, conducted preliminary agreement for its sale of  Idroelettrica Tosco Emiliana S.r.l. (ITE) to Energy Opportunity S.r.l.

ITE owns the Lucchio hydropower plant in the central Italian region of Tuscany as well as the Saltino site in Emilia-Romagna in the northeast.

K.R.Energy is an Italy-based holding company engaged in the electric power industry. Through its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, it is active in the research, design, engineering and implementation of energy solutions, as well as production and marketing of energy from renewable sources. The company operates through a number of subsidiaries including Tolo Energia S.p.A.

Molino Facchinelli Zerbini & Partners acted as financial advisor while Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) as legal advisor to K.R.Energy.
