KBJ, Hanwha to build 30 MW solar project in Malaysia

Malaysian local company, Konsortium Beseri Jaya Sdn Bhd (KBJ), and Hanwha Energy Corp Singapore Pte Ltd (Hanwha), a unit of Hanwha Group have set up a joint venture vehicle company, KBJ Hecmy, to develop a 30 MW solar project in Kampung Perawah, Chuping.

The MYR220 million (US$53.11 million) project will be realized with a loan of US$50 million from OCBC Bank and Bangkok Bank. Hanwha is investing US$10 million in cash for the project.
