Juwi Renewable Energy Pty Ltd, the Brisbane based subsidiary of German renewable energy specialist juwi AG, has signed an agreement with Pacific Energy (KPS) to construct a medium penetration solar/diesel hybrid power solution for the Jacinth Ambrosia Project (JAP) in South Australia.
The solar farm will integrate 3.4 MW of solar generation into the existing 12 MW Diesel Power Station.
KPS will own and operate the JAP hybrid project, which after completion is expected to deliver almost 21 percent of the mine site’s annual electricity needs. It is scheduled to be operational before the end of 2021.
