Juwi received O&M contract for 85 MW De Aar 1 solar project in South Africa

Juwi Renewable Energies (Pty) Ltd (Juwi South), a unit of Juwi Group, has been awarded the contract to deliver the operation and maintenance (O&M) services to the 85 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in South Africa.  

The De Aar 1 solar PV farm has been in operation since 2014. The project is constructed about 500 km north of the coastal city of Port Elizabeth. The solar farm is part of South Africa’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Procurement Programme (REI4P).
