JA Solar Technology Co Ltd has announced to supply 100 MW of high-efficiency mono PERC photovoltaic modules to 100 MW solar photovoltaic project in Alvarado-La Risca in Spain.
The two 50 MW plants are located in Alvarado-La Risca, a town in the municipality of Badajoz (Extremadura region). The solar parks are scheduled to be operational by the third quarter of 2020.
The plants have been developed by Solarpack who will continue to manage the projects throughout construction and operations. The parks will operate under a power purchase agreement (PPA) with power trader and distributor Shell Energy Europe Limited.
Bruc Iberia Energy Investment Partners, with shareholders including Juan Béjar, OPTrust and Green Investment Group, has acquired from Solarpack the two solar plants in January of 2020.
