innogy starts construction of 250 MW Scioto Ridge wind project in Ohio

innogy has started construction of its first onshore wind farm in the US: Scioto Ridge, a 250 megawatt (MW) project in Hardin and Logan Counties, Ohio. 

The wind farm will consist of 75 Siemens Gamesa wind turbines and is expected to be operational by 2020. 

The project represents a US$300 million of investment.
