The Government of India has extended the deadline of all renewable energy projects currently under development because of the lockdown brought by COVID-19 pandemic.
The projects granted for the implementation will be extended equal to the period of the lockdown and an additional 30 days. The developers will no be required by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) to provide evidence or documentation to prove the delay of the completion of the project.
