The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has launched two tenders for the development of ISTS-connected wind and solar projects with up to 2 GW each aggregate capacity under tariff-based competitive bidding.
The projects will be developed on a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) scheme. SECI will enter into a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the developers for the energy produced from the wind and solar plants.
The deadline for the submission of documents to participate in the tender is on May 6, 2020.
