Ignitis Group has started the power generation of its 94 MW (megawatt) wind farm located in the Pomeranian Voivodship, approximately 50 km from the coastline of the Bay of Gdansk, in the municipalities of Dzierzgon and Stary Targ.
Pomerania power plant consists of 28 units of its N131/3600 turbines and one N117/3000 machine. It has an expected capacity of 300 GWh of electricity, supplying around 75,000 households with the clean energy generated by the project, on an annual basis.
The company will launch continuous operations at the facility after getting a power generation permit.
