Iberdrola has been awarded the construction of three new wind projects in the renewable energy auction held recently in Athens, Greece.
The facilities have a combined capacity of 98.1 MW, distributed in Askio II (33.6 MW) and Askio III (48 MW) wind farms, which will be located in Kozani and Kastoriá, both in the region of West Macedonia; and Rokani (16.5 MW), which will be located near the island of Euboea in Central Greece.
Iberdrola expects the new wind farms to commence operation in 2022.
