Iberdrola has commissioned its Barcience solar photovoltaic project in the region of Castile-La Mancha in Spain.
The project developed in Bargas, Toledo has 144,900 modules and installed power of 50 MW. The plant will produce clean energy for the equivalent of 24,700 homes/year and will prevent the emission of 15,000 tons of CO2 per year into the atmosphere.
The construction of the Barcience (Toledo) project has involved 250 workers and numerous national suppliers.
