Iberdrola is currently installing more than 730,000 solar panels in about 703 hectares of land area, while under a strict safety and health protection measures, for its 200 MW Cuyoaco solar project located in the state of Puebla. The project will be Iberdrola´s third photovoltaic plant in the country.
The Cuyoaco solar project is expected to generate up to 551 GWh annually, enough to supply power for about 162,800 households and offsetting 145,540 tonnes of carbon emission.
