The GrupoTec Servicios Avanzados company has connected 92 MW of photovoltaic solar energy to the electricity network, which was awarded in the auction held in July of 2017.
GrupoTec has invested in about EUR80 million (US$89.48 million) to the two solar plants, 50 MW photovoltaic plant in Albacete and 41.6 MW in Almería desert. The company has received financial support from two banks, Banco Sabadell and Bankia.
