Greencoat completes acquisition of the 18.8 MW Slieve Divena II wind project in Northern Ireland

Greencoat UK Wind has completed the acquisition of the 18.8 MW Slieve Divena II wind farm located in Northern Ireland. 

Greencoat has purchased the wind project for a total investment of GBP51 million (US$63.2 million) from the renewables unit of SSE plc. 

The project is located near Omagh in County Tyrone. It has been operational since June 2017. The project has a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with SSE Airtricity and secured 0.9 renewables obligation certificates (ROCs) per MWh.
