Renewable energy project developer Greenalia plans to build a 45 MW wind farm in the region of Galicia in Spain.
Named as Pena Ombra wind farm, the project will be built in the municipalities of Curtis, Guitiriz, and Sobrado dos Monxes and would require an investment of about EUR34 million (US$40.39 million).
The project will have 10 wind turbines that are capable to deliver up to 146,178 MWh of energy per year. The wind farm is part of the 135 MW energy auction launched by the Ministry of Ecological Transition.
