Green Hydrogen Systems, Eurowind Energy, and Lhyfe have entered into a master supply agreement covering delivery of up to 24 MW electrolysis capacity in Denmark.

With this master supply agreement, the three parties are granting each other mutual exclusivity for the establishment of a green hydrogen production plant of up to 24 MW electrolysis capacity. The large-scale production and storage of green hydrogen from solar and wind produced at GreenLab Skive will partly be processed into green methanol for use in the transport sector and partly used directly as a green, zero-emission fuel for heavy transport. The objective of the project is to pave the way for large-scale Power-to-X projects with the potential to not only affect the Danish energy transition but also to accelerate Europe’s path to climate neutrality by 2050.

The first phase of the electrolyzer plant is approximately 12 MW, and it is expected to be installed at the end of 2022. Green Hydrogen Systems will be responsible for operating the plant for the first 24 months. Thereafter, the operation will be taken over by Eurowind Energy and Lhyfe.
