Gore Street Energy Storage Fund, a Fund dedicated to sustainable energy projects and investment manage by Gore Street Capital, has closed a GBP10.7 million (US$13.8 million) investment from a launched equity issue.
The Irish sovereign wealth fund National Treasury & Management Agency has committed GBP9.5 million (US$12.23 million) while the remaining investment was secured from new and existing institutional investors.
Under the launched equity sale and placing, the company has issued 1.3 million new shares at 93.8 pence (US$120.6) each. On admission, the company's issued share capital will comprise 48.9 million shares.
