Foresight Solar Fund Ltd has closed a GBP65 million (US$79.5 million) gross in an oversubscribed share issuance in public placing.
The proceeds are set to repay debt drawn down on the existing revolver of the company.
The 54,894,155 Ordinary Shares on a non-pre-emptive basis is approximately 10% of the Ordinary Shares in the company. The GBP 1.19 (US$1.54) per share placing price of represents a 9.2% premium to Foresight Solar’s net asset value (NAV) per share as of the end of August.
