The NV Energy unit Nevada Power Co and Google affiliate Lumen Group LLC have entered into an agreement for the power produced in the solar and energy storage hybrid project that will be developed in Nevada.
Google will purchase the energy produced in the 350 MW solar photovoltaic plant with an energy storage facility of about 280 MW in capacity to power its new US$600 million data center in Henderson, Nevada, near Las Vegas.
