Harmony Energy Storage (HESL) and Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) has planned to jointly build a 34 MW/68 MWh Contego energy storage project in Burgess Hill, in West Sussex, southern England, UK.
The project will feature 28 Megapack lithium-ion batteries, supplied by Tesla Inc.
The construction of the project is scheduled to start before the end of 2020 and expected to be operational in 2021. Once operational, the Contego Energy project will be connected to the UK Power Networks distribution network.
