Final approval secured for 450 MW Wind farm in Romania

The first phase of the 450 MW Vifor wind farm in Buzau county, Romania has been granted setting-up authorization by the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE).

Rezolv Energy and Low Carbon are collaborating on the development of the Vifor wind farm. This authorization serves as the final approval, allowing construction work to commence shortly at the site. The projected timeline for completion is approximately 18 months.

The project will cover a total area of 2869 hectares and is expected to become operational before the end of 2025.
