Falck Renewables S.p.A. has completed the construction of the 21 MW Okla onshore wind farm located on the Stadlandet peninsula near Selije, Norway.
The project features five turbines and is expected to produce around 75 GWh of electricity annually, equivalent to the power consumption of around 4,700 households. The wind farm will avoid around 1,420 tCO2 emissions per year, contributing towards the company's work in countering climate change and reaching net-zero.
The local population will benefit from Falck Renewable’s community engagement program including its student support scheme, which promotes the development of skills in the renewable energy sector.
