Falck Renewables SpA has completed the acquisition of the remaining shares held by Ascia Renovables S.L. in Energía Eólica de Castilla S.L., the owner of the Carrecastro wind farm, located in the municipalities of Tordesillas and Velilla, Castilla y León region of Spain.

The plant was built by Falck Renewables together with Ascia Renovables S.L. which, after the initial development activities, brought local expertise to the project.

The Carrecastro wind farm, which entered in operation at the beginning of February 2020, has a total capacity of 10 MW, an expected production of 33 GWh per year and benefits from a long-term contract (Power Purchase Agreement, PPA) signed in September 2019 with Holaluz, a Spanish energy supplier.
